For some reason, starting this morning (9/14/2018), I cannot RDP (mstsc /admin) from my Windows 10 Pro machine to another local Windows 10 Pro machine that I have. The last time this was working was yesterday. I can connect and get the login window, but after entering my username and password, it just sits there with the hourglass.

After restarting I enabled the Administrator account, logged on using the Administrator account and tried resetting TCP again but saw the same message and after restarting am still unable to establish a Remote Desktop connection. I have also tried restarting the gateway router.
Jan 13, 2020 · I successfully installed the RDP Wrapper. When I run the rdpconf.bat program I see exactly what is described in the figure in Step 5. However when I run the rdpcheck.bat prog and enter my Microsoft password I get the “Access Denied” message. In addition, I do not see the Remote Desktop information on the System Properties box.
